Good value for money resort with nice pool not too far from center of Chiangmai

Nicely designed hotel with good pool access to rooms. Conveniently located close to the airport and not far from the center of town. Staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Breakfast buffet was very basic and was often not replenished. Location was a bit too close to airport with flight path nearby.

Nice hotel, good value.

This is a lovely hotel, situated in the suburbs of Chiang Mai, but with everything in walking distance or by very cheap Tuk Tuk. We stayed at the hotel twice during our 4 weeks in Thailand, and we sampled all three room types on offer. All were nice, clean, comfortable and spacious, with a large bath and separate shower. TV has Netflix. Beds are very comfy, room fridge very handy, staff are lovely (including Michael, who everyone comments on). Limited but very nice breakfast on offer. Swimming pool very large and clean, Koi pond amazing, as is resident cat. Standard (deluxe) rooms are in the basement, so lack of natural light and a bit humid down there, but still nice, with a little private courtyard attached, although no furniture to sit outside. Executive room, on top floor, very nice with balcony, so good view of pool. Poolside (swim up) rooms are the nicest…you can access a small pool directly from your balcony…although it’s easier to get in the pool than it is to get back out!

The photos on the website are out of date…the hotel is a little tired and rough around the edges…and is in need of some maintenance, e.g., rotting wood on balconies, tiles missing in pool, sun loungers missing cushions etc. Also, there is no Spa, no massage facilities (although they will book a local massage person to come to your room), no bar, no cocktails, no evening meals, so you need to go out for everything.

Fabulous stay - get the pool room - it is great!

We had a room which went straight out to the pool and this was such a great addition! The room size was good, the bathroom was amazing, the hotel was quiet and the staff very friendly. I had read some bad reviews but I thought the whole stay was great. It's not high end luxury but then the price reflects that. For us, it was really perfect and we were sad to leave.

We loved our room with the pool access, staff were really kind, helpful and friendly too

There was no room service or cocktails/food despite this being advertised. The pool wasn’t very clean and our daily room service was just making the bed and refreshing some of the towels.

Lovely place with cozy "family" feel, fantastic huge swimming pool, unique style and lovely staff!

Superquiet location great for sleep and relax by the awesome and big clean pool but not far from hustle and bustle of the city. The whole building is very unique built in a fusion of traditional and modern way. The staff is the top of the cake crowned by Mr. Michael ;)

The view and the fact that in my room which was located beneath the swimming pool water surface and just infront of the swimming pool wall the window can not be opened and view is basically nil. I realize the room I stayed at is the cheapest room style available therefore I have no problem with that but some people may not like this style. However I have to point out that since those rooms are somehow "disconnected" from the world outside, they are absolutely fantastic for great sleep and in the morning I woke up superbly refreshed.

Adequate hotel

The hotel was nice. Our room had a deck which led directly into the pool. The room was a nice size with good climate control. The room was also very clean. They did offer a shuttle service to various parts of Chiang Mai when available. We were able to schedule the shuttle for return service to the airport. That was quite convenient.

The location was a bit removed from the center of action but they did have a shuttle service if you wished to wait for it. The food was not good. They offered a limited breakfast buffet but the overall quality was not good. A disappointment.

We enjoyed the breakfast. Nice and comfortable room.

Air conditioner is a bit noisy. Sound of water (swimming pool) at night might be irritating. If you are sensitive to that sound you must care about it.

Could’ve been better

Staff were attentive and lovely but some language barriers. Nice pool but too cold for us to swim in.

We booked a ‘Ground Floor Room’ which is actually pretty much underground. No balcony and one window which was underneath the pool. Room smelt extremely mouldy and musty. We had to ask for an upgrade which of course cost us money. Our next room was on the third floor and much better. Location isn’t great and you need to get transport almost everywhere. I think there would be much better value for money options closer to town.

I did laundry service with them and they lost my clothes but they said they were going to ship it to my other hotel and they apologized and kept their word. I arrived at my other hotel a few days later and my package with my clothes were there!! So I give them credit for that.

Very happy..beautiful setting ..great service and staff..

Very friendly helpful staff ..as I checked in rather late the staff were excellent and they went the extra as I had been travelling on the train all day and arrived to the Hotel very hungry they brought the delicious food to my room as the restaurant was closing...so thank you staff The only other thing I would like to mention was after a very small hitch with the bathroom they immediately up graded me into another room and assist so that was pretty awesome....Great staff Great place to stay

Breakfast was nice.

Breakfast was nice. The atmosphere is open, spacious and quiet.

The hotel grounds - pool area and dining area - seemed to be going through a renovation (I didn't know about this when I booked), Lounge chairs were not clean and remained uncleaned during my entire visit.
